Hard crust!. I realize pizza is supposed to be eaten with your fingers. The plastic cutlery was pretty useless trying to cut through the tough crust. It was ok, nothing special. I don’t think worth the price. Too bad. good location. So many choices in the food court at Chinook Centre. Don’t think I would go back here.
Pizza not noteworthy. Pizza is one of my favourite food sins, and it seems like everytime we head to Chinook I pass this place up. So today I thought what better way than to give Wicked Wedge a shot.We hit the food court close to 10 am but most of the vendors were not ready yet, Wicked Wedge included (they had no pizzas ready). So after walking around the mall for abit we headed back to the food court and all the vendors were in full swing.I headed over to Wicked Wedge and noticed they only had 2 pizzas ready, a 4 cheese pizza and a pepperoni. I looked at their menu – which was extremely simplistic – and the only info I could find was ‘pizza and salad’. I found that odd, especially the fact that there was no price anywhere.I asked the girl behind the girl how much the pizza/salad combo cost, and she replied $7.75. A little pricey but what the hey. Unfortunately, she then informed me the salad was not ready (the salad is a ceasar). I then picked a slice of pepperoni, $4.75 (real price $4.73, but due no pennies anymore, $4.75). As a side note, I think this is abit of a ‘fraud’, as each sale nets them an additional 2 cents. Anyways, she served me up a slice and placed it on butcher paper which was on the tray. The pizza itself was ‘meh’, good quantity of toppings – cheese and pepperoni, and adequate sauce. The crust was thick which I am a fan of, but what was really lacking was the crunch on the exterior of the crust and then the nice bread dough on the inside. I don’t know if sitting under the heat lamp had anything to do with the pizza being soggy, but for me, it was just ok.Overall, the pizza was not noteworthy. The cost for one slice was exorbantly high, no being prepared for the Sat. shopping crowd (salad not ready), and lack lustre pizza (good toppings, but forgettable crust).

$5 for a slice of cold hard pizza!?? Worst slice of pizza I’ve ever had!
Not what I expected. Well after reading all the reviews about the downtown location I was very excited to see this one coming to Chinook center. The staff are somewhat friendly but I can’t say they are really customer service orriented at least not when I visited. The location was busy the first couple of days open but has really declined after the first week. I bought a slice and are you kidding me $5 for a cold slice of pizza, the crust was dry, the cheese cold I couldn’t believe it my hopes were up so high. I just can not see myself going back I hate to get ripped off paying high prices and getting bad food. Sorry but I just can not reccomend this location to anyone.
