Rotten Salad. I’m glad pictures of Argo’s rotten salad were posted by another patron. I didn’t take a picture of my rotten salad but I can tell you it looked worse than those pictures. Can you image how gross their kitchen, storage area and other places out of publics view may be?
Not the same anymore. Argos used to be our favorite restaurant in Medcine Hat. The service is always great but now Argos seems to want to charge extra for anything you ask for. Case in ponit – The large Lasagna is $15.95 and is very good. Everytime I ordered it in the past I asked for lots of meat sauce and it came that way and was awesome. Now they charge $2,00 more if you ask for this. The lasagna is very dry if you don’t ask for this but at $17.95 that’s great profit for a pasta dish. The same dish costs about $12.95 at most restaurants and none of them charge extra for meat sauce.. To bad they have gone this route as the 3 of us used to go there at least twice a week but no more now..

Excellent service. Order taken within minutes of arrival. Drinks served promptly & checked while we waited for our meals during a clearly busy dinner time rush. Apology & promise of impending food arrival after only 15 minutes wait. Food came scant moments later & was piping hot, expertly prepared & cooked to all our liking. Each of the five in our group were pleased with our meals & three of us also had an excellent dessert. The others didn’t have room for dessert. This was a truly enjoyable dinner.
Service was okay. Food was terrible. At 250lbs + I’ve never sent back a burger in my life, but this one was so salty a horse would be happy to lick it. Also, my toddlers pasta from the kids meal came out sizzling hot. A transient would have sent back the mashe potatoes. Would not recommend this place to a pack of wild, mangy dogs.
Sloooowwwww service. Waited over 25 minutes to order. Lots of other options with way better service in town.
Spent over an hour waiting for nothing. We left and not even an apology! Second time at argos! Wont be a third. I will be sure to pass the great word on!
