Best buffet in town. Always great food at the buffet. can’t speak about take out or ordering from the menu I never have. always clean and fresh and the servers are great
All Tastes The Same. Tasteless or oily and all tastes the same… Kind of pricey for a few take out dishes even with pick-up.Wish medicine hat had better Chinese!
Good food, but very inconsistent. Much better to go in and eat rather than getting take out. Ordered takeout yesterday and although it tasted ok I wasn’t to impressed. The sweet and sour boneless pork was 25% vegetables, the chicken chow mein had 5 pieces of chicken in the whole container, the stir fry four vegetables (advertised as broccoli, mushrooms, snow peas, and baby corn) didn’t have baby corn (which was my favorite part) but had celery, bok choy, carrots, onions, red and green peppers. Half of it was peppers and onions which I hate. The only thing that was as expected was the almond chicken
Best Chinese in Medicine Hat. I’ve tried pretty much all of the Chinese restaurants in Medicine hat and Hat’s is definitely the best! The owner and staff really seem to care, we often see the owner walking around helping the staff and ensuring customers are happy. The food is always delicious and fresh! Highly recommended!
Worst takeout I have had in a long timeEverything tasted old and dry and chalky
Decent Western Chinese. Pretty good for westernized Chinese food. We had the buffet in the restaurant – there was enough variety to suit most people’s tastes. The Chinese fare was your typical North American style… fresh and good tasting but not particularly noteworthy or spicy (perfect for seniors). I found the roast turkey and mashed potatoes to be oddball items, but they were done well at least. There’s also a fair selection of salad and dessert choices. Value for money is excellent! The decor is stuck firmly in the 1970s, but the dining room and restrooms were clean. Overall, decent food at a decent price.
Great roast turkey fresh every night on the buffet. I recommend Hats if you are looking for the best buffet in The Hat!
