Went in with the family. Not overly clean, smells musty like grandma’s basement. Love bulgogi and bibimbap as well as vermicelli bowls normally, so we’re excited to try. Bulgogi was good. Not overly large portions. Bibimbap a big letdown. Came out almost cold. Stirred up to cook the raw egg and barely warmed it up. Stone bowl was cold the whole time. Vermicelli bowls were okay. Tough to mess those up. Won’t go back. Too bad. We were excited to find it.
I am actually amazed that there are so many positive reviews. As soon as I walked in, my shoes were sticking to the floor. The floor was absolutely disgusting. I honestly think it hasn’t been cleaned for at least a few months. One wonders how clean this place is behind the scenes. I was so disgusted by the floors, I contemplated walking out but I thought I’d give it a shot.I ordered the special pho soup 33. Usually at other Pho restaurants, it takes 5-8 minutes to serve. Here, it took 18 minutes. There was only one more table with two people in the entire place. The portion size was small and they only provided me with a tiny amount of sprouts and a lime wedge. The soup was OK but nothing special.Perhaps there are other dishes that may have been more satisfying but unfortunately, I will not return to this place to find out. This place would not last very long in a larger city. Step up your game IPHO!
I am in love with the food here. I’ve always loved Vietnamese food, but the Korean food is fantastic! The service is friendly, and the dining area has a lovely atmosphere. There is limited seating; probably 10-15 tables, but it’s a lovely place to eat.
We popped in for a quick visit along our travels. The interior is quaint and cozy but it took nearly ten minutes before we were acknowledged. It appeared as though there was one young lady running everything but the kitchen. We overheard her telling the guest in front of us that the wait for food would be longer due to the amount of take out orders they had. We felt comfortable dining here with our kids, it was a quiet restaurant but casual enough that a little noise added some needed energy to the room. The food was hot and delicious. We had the appetizer plate with spring rolls, shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers, and shrimp salad rolls. Everything was delicious. I had the bibimbap, it came with some great accompaniments and it was wonderful. My husband had the pho which was tasty but the broth was a little bland compared to what he was used to. All in all the wait wasn’t awful but worth mentioning because if how often it came up in the reviews. A few people mentioned stuck tables and placemats in the review as well but that was not our experience. I would recommend not going if your in a huge rush but if your out to visit with a friend I don’t think you will notice any delays worth complaining about. I would definately visit again.
The spring rolls are to die for, and the vermicelli dishes are my cravings. The bubble tea is superb and the prices are worth the delicious food, great smiles & service I receive every time I go.
The food was fantastic, and the kids LOVED the bubble teas. My husband, daughter and I love Vietnamese food, but it is sometimes a hard sell for my son. IPHO has items on the menu that appeal to even the pickiest of eaters such as honey garlic chicken wings and chicken noodle soup. We thoroughly enjoy this restaurant! The service is also friendly and lovely.
Great food. The service is a little awkward but friendly. It always seems like the tables and floors are sticky… . We have eaten here on several occasions. I always order #47 and my wife orders bibimbap which she loves.
