Beer was ice cold , food was excellent! ( perogies, fish taco, bacon/cheese burger, chicken burger, fries and homemade gravy). Definitely will be back 🙂 great service as well.
Loved this place! Staff was friendly, place was clean and has a nice environment, and even has outdoor seating for summer! The food was very well prepared and I appreciated that they hand-make their burgers in-house! I was most impressed with their yam fries, finding them to be perfectly crisp, seasoned and dippable! Completely enjoyed, and will go to again!
This place is okay. Definitely not a personal favorite. I enjoy the atmosphere more than the actual food. Their food is expensive and the portions are small. They have a very small menu selection. Their nachos are good however and their poutine is decent if you enjoy the lighter gravy. Great location and trendy feel.
Been for a short visit on a Friday night and it was full. A group of us came by one night just to wind down, and we all arrived separate. That being said it wasn’t to bad to get our drinks. Only a few of us ordered food and it was good. I had poutine, and while it was no Pooty’s I’d order it again. Fries are good. They had miso gravy (I’m not exactly sure what it is) but I liked it. Another person ordered just fries, and got enough that it had to be shared. Upon seeing this, we were offered more of the dipping sauce. A nice little touch that the staff is actually paying attention. Like I said it was busy. Seems more like a bar, to stop by and get drunk than a restaurant to have a nice meal. It also was a bit packed. I don’t mean to many people, I mean not enough room. I’m not sure if they just tried to put as many tables in as little space as they could, or if they are just more successful than they though and had to put extra tables on what space they did have.Food: good. Prices: not horrible, but not low. Atmosphere: would be better if there was less people. Our group was crowded around a small table. Once we got food and drink, there was not even room for my keys. (which is why I rated it lower) Service: excellent.I might be back, but not when it’s that crowded.
Everyone raves about this pla e, and while its somewhat unique locally it really isn’t anything special. Food was good, staff seemed snobby and everything takes 3x longer than it needs to.
Great location, decor and service. Food was pretty good all around (there were 6 of us) but definitely don’t recommend the chicken nachos as they were dry with little in the toppings department. The plus was our waitress took them off our bill. Our son found the fish and chips to be bland and said he wouldn’t order them again but everyone else enjoyed their entrees.
The patio is absolutely perfect on a warm summer day! The burger with bacon and old cheddar cheese was very flavorful and def homemade patty; the tuna club was perfectly cooked (although possibly not the best use of tuna:-). Really need hostess/host to make sure that tables at the very front of the patio are taken care of. Except for the noisy bikes and cars/trucks with oversized mufflers cruising by it’s pretty ideal for lunch.
