Food was great, service was awful. The food was really great, my husband and I don’t get out too often and both working in the service industry ourselves know with a price tag you should expect, good to exceptional service, this was not what we experianced. There is no other way to put other than the service was bad.
Special – Halibut. Started with the Mario Prawns, which had a very nice sauce on the prawns over bread. Our Halibut special came with a very nice and fresh garden salad and oven fresh bread. The pooched halibut was layed over sun ripe tomato and mash. the sauce was a raspberry sauce This also included asparagus, broccoli and carrots. Excellent choice.
Disappointed. A group of coworkers went for lunch and almost all of us were very unhappy. Orders were wrong, the food was disappointing. The Taco salad a few of us had was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen- Taco salad at Taco Time is better! A side-salad plate of shredded lettuce, dry ground beef, three tortilla chips,and parmesan cheese does not make Taco Salad. The pulled pork sandwich was also disappointing. The steak sandwich was good, though. No plans to return which is too bad, I like to support local.
Went here for our anniversary dinner. Our waitress was very friendly and menu knowledgeable. This was the first time we dined here. We were offered drink refills constantly and our water glasses were always full. They serve fresh bread while you wait for your order, that was so light, fluffy, moist and warm…mmmm! We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it is the best I have ever eaten! Our main course is served with salad, so next came a house salad that was very good-the dressing was light and creamy. I ordered the chorizo and mushroom linguini which has a rose sauce, oh my goodness it was so divine! The flavours just melted and blended so well in my mouth! My spouse ordered the 4 cheese tortellini in cream sauce, he really enjoyed it! We then shared a piece of chocolate cake that was like heaven! This was a fabulous restaurant, romantic and cozy. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to dine with some class…
Nice place for a date. Great Caesar salad but definitely don’t recommend the pasta. The fettuccine Alfredo is flavorless and dry….needs ALOT more garlic, Parmesan and cream to boost it. The service is friendly though. Really good steak!
Amazing food, amazing service. My boyfriends steak was cooked perfectly and my pasta was delicious. Our wine was always topped up for us and our water glasses were always filled. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Some friends and I went too Mario’s for dinner, i must say the food and service was amazing. The staff goes out of there way too make sure that you have an excellent dining experience!! I will definitely be going there there too eat again!
