I’ve eaten here a few times and always had great food. The last time was a total disappointment. Ordered a steak with baked potato my potato was cooked in the microwave.
This place has the best pasta ever! I always always have a great meal when I go to Mauro’s. Their pasta and dishes are delicious, homemade and rich. Worth every single penny you pay for. I am always very content with the food at this pub. Authentic Italian food and a great price, when I move back to Calgary, I would still drive back to come to Mauro’s. Their specials are always appealing. Highly recommend!
TOTAL CRAP!!!!! Had pasta that tasted like wallpaper paste. Kitchen sent out a bunch of crappy sauces to add to try and make it taste like food and nothing helped. Still made me pay for food that I could eat because it was CRAP ($12.50) and only gave me a free desert ($4.50). They don’t stand behind their food or the customer. Will never go there again!
Food was awesome, and amazing deal for the portions. Atmosphere could use some work, but not bad. Thumbs up for the most part. Great pasta.
Fantastic!. Consistently my favorite place to eat when I’m in Medicine Hat. Food is always wonderful. Portions are huge for few $$. Service is great.

Great Pub!. This is one of my favorite spots in Medicine Hat. The drinks are really cheap, the food is great, and the service is always quick and lots of fun. There are always daily specials that are different and delicious. I recommend checking out Mauro’s whenever you’re looking for somewhere great to eat!
