We used to go often when Bob owned it, and the food was ok, the staff were great! We decided to go with the new owners and wow the prices are ridiculous.. eg. A piece of Mahi on caesar salad was 18.95! Our orders were horrible, and I had pasta, it was way over sauced with no flavor. My BF had the Ukrainian burger, and I must say it was disgusting, he did not eat it and he sent it back, but we ended up paying for it.. The owner should have at least come over and gave us a percentage off.. I am a world traveller and believe in supporting our local restaurants, but we will not be back!
Watch the prices.. First time at this restaurant. I did like the atmosphere and the service. But…. I ordered the 10.95 steak and pasta special which was o k. I also ordered a side of soup which was french onion with cheese on top. I got the bill and WHAT 8.95 for a bowl of soup… come on onions are cheap too.
Quick and friendly. Even though the place was packed, or orders were taken promptly and the food arrived in good time and exactly as ordered. The burgers are made in house and although the meat was quality and cooked well the grind of the beef was a little on the fine side for my liking. The fries and gravey were both tasty but the fries were all really tiny and a bit soggy. Over all it was a good experience and just what we were looking for: a burger and a beer in a place that wouldn’t mind that we’d been doing yard work all day.
