Good pizza. One of the better pies I’ve had in medicine hat. Super thick and loaded with toppings. Only downside is if you want to eat in you do it in a pub where the service is pub ish. Good place for a beer and a slice. Not fine dinning though so don’t expect fine dinning service
RUDE RUDE RUDE. I decided to give Papa Taso’s a try as the best pizza place in town ( Antonio’s) was closed for a family gathering. I had heard some good things about them so thought I would give them a chance to dazzle me . This was a bad,bad idea.I prefer normal, table bacon to that of back bacon, so we called first and confirmed they did have both options available. Once we knew what we wanted we called back and ordered a pizza with this normal bacon on it , and said to them, Not the back bacon kind. She assured me it was all good,,,,,,because she has a heavy accent, she couldnt grasp my address, so Twice I had to spell out my street address to her. …..got off the phone and awaited for our pizzas to arrive……..an Hour later I get a phone call from the driver asking me for my address………what she had written down for him was thee furthest point in the city from where i live, she couldnt even get the NE versus SE correct….so this driver was at the wrong house , in the wrong part of the city….another 20 minutes later and this sloppy pizza shows up. The driver apologized, which I knew was not his fault at all………and then boom, open the pizza and there is back bacon, not the bacon I had requested on it. I phone to let her know of all these issues and she explained that the pizzas come in an insulated container so it wouldn’t matter that it took well over and hour,,,,,,,,,,,,and then denied it had back bacon,,,she just kept saying it had bacon like i asked. i told her i was disappointed in this being my first time ordering from them and she told me she didn’t care,,,,,,,,that i was a nobody and i could tell people and it wouldn’t matter ( was hard to pick it all up exactly due to the accent) . Avoid this place…., if you want local Pizza that is worth every penny, give Antonio’s Pizza and Donair a call 403 580 2830 .The lesson learned for me was, when you find an amazing pizza place, don’t stray and risk being treated the way I was by this placeFor sure this lady , whom i assume is the owner, has never read dale carnegie’s how to win friends and influence people book .
Ordered pepperoni, Hawaiian pizza and Caesar salad. Pizza was terrific. Really liked the zesty pizza sauce and fresh taste. Caesar salad was pretty standard although I enjoyed the amount of dressing.
Good food. They got pizzas that are hefty and take two hands to eat; however, the downside to that is that when you have too much you often lose out on flavour and everything gets muddled. Great lunch combo of lasagna and cesar salad. You get a great deal (size and price), but flavour is severely lacking. Overall good, but could be so much better.

So so. Papa Tasos pizza is not the best pizza in ”The Hat” but its not the worst – probably in the middle of the pack were Tops pizza would be the best I have tried SO far(still looking for more suggestions) and little ceasers and pizza 73 near the bottom.
Best Pizza in the Hat. My and my husband almost exclusively order pizza from Papa Taso’s now. The pizza is awesome, and the prices are good!
