I’m a poutine lover. I really enjoy the creative selections. Good old fashion regular is yummy but the bacon and blue cheese is something special. Next time I go I am going to try the stuffing one. Seemed pricey at first but the portions didn’t disappoint. A regular sized one was actually difficult to finish. Great customer service and low wait time.

What a fun funky food truck! Love all there poutines and I am so addicted! They have ruined regular poutines for me for life. Lol I’ve tried there bacon poutine (real cut up fried bacon and cheddar, mozzarella curds and blue cheese), then the pulled pork poutine is tied with the top 2 with there BBQ tender pork, sauted veggies and chipotle mayo! Umm yummy!! Don’t get me started on their Eggs Benidict poutine! A sunny side up egg tops there poutine with bacon or sausage, tomatos and hollandaise! Oh and Swiss cheese is added too! They don’t use the skinny fries regularly, they use a thicker coated fry usually and they are fabulous! Prices run from 6.50$ for there regular and around 12$ for there speciality ones but prices make sense once you receive a huge meal with lots of toppings! I will continue to loosen my belt notches till I try them all!! Go Medicine Hat!!!

I have found my new food addiction. I have always liked poutine since I first had it years ago in Quebec, but Pooty’s Poutine takes this dish to a whole new level. I have had the Thanksgiving Dinner Poutine and it makes me give thanks alright! The sweet potato fries are crispy, the sauted onions have just enough bite and add perfectly to the delicious stuffing, tasty with really nice sage flavour. Gravy is yummy and melts the cheese into a gooey glob of goodness. Top it all off with the best part….sweet and tangy cranberry sauce. Then they mix it all together into the perfect holiday inspired concoction! Portions are Huge and will fill you up or be great to share (although I will not!). I need to stop ordering this dish, so I can try some of the other flavours. Highly recommend this dish.

After hearing so many great things about Pooty’s, I figured I’d better try it out. I found them parked at The Brick during their tent sale event. Read the menu but was stumped as to which poutine to try. The guy running it was helpful and said that days popular item was the bacon and blue cheese poutine so I went with that. 1. Huge portion which made the price tag of $11 bearable. 2. LOTS of real chunks of bacon liberally sprinkled on the top. 3. Skinny fries. Not too much of a fan of skinny fries for my poutine but it was still good. 4. Gravy had good flavor and they were generous with it which is great in my books. 5. Again, generous with the cheese which is another plus. 6. Blue cheese. Ick. Hate the stuff. Next time I’ll ask it stay off. Overall, I had a great experience and would def hit them up again.

OK, so with a name like Pooty’s Poutine, and being a purple school bus, I had no idea what to expect. If you’re going to sell one thing you should do it right. Let’s start with the prices and portions; up to $13, but that’s not just fries, gravy and cheese (although you can get that) it’s giant, meal size portions. Possibly enough for two people, if you don’t eat it all yourself.Let’s talk menu. Yes they have standard poutine. But everybody does that. They have dessert poutine: kit kats, caramel sauce and marshmallows. Bacon poutine: normal poutine with cheddar cheese and full bacon strips (cut up) added. Newfie fries: normal poutine with onions, stuffing, and some pickled jalapeos. And much more, see their Facebook page. Now non of that matters unless it’s good, and it is darn good. The consensus between me and my co-workers is that it’s amazing. I personally have tried the Newfie fries, and bacon poutine, and man I want to try the other types as well. Like I said, you could share it, but you won’t want to. Fries are cooked perfectly, gravy is good, and all the toppings are amazing.TL;DR TRY IT!! It’s poutine served from a purple school bus, how can it be bad?
