Had to stay over because of work on a Friday night. Fish and chips are a common go-to when Im at new places, but I wasn’t overly impressed with my meal. Their mushy peas were delicious, probably because they were more mashed and less puree. The fish batter however did not maintain crispiness and was gooey by the time I was eating it. The fries were big steak fries that were fluffy baked potato-like fries which went well with the delicious stout gravy. The ambience has a dark classy pub type of feel with popular music playing in the background. The service at the bar was phenomenal, very welcoming and attentive. Will try the food again next week.

I looked at the menu before coming here & it got me excited to come here but most of the dishes I ordered were not great & this was one of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant after me & my co-worker sat down & given the menu we waited 20 minutes for our waitress to return she spent more time talking very loud about bad customers that had just left & made everyone in the area awkward. Ok so now about the food the baked onion soup $5 was decent but have had a lot better the wild mushroom fondue $9was really good creamy & cheesy with lots of mushroom. The Cajun ribeye $42 & came with 2 sides I got the creamed corn & gnocchi the steak was cooked nicely to medium rare which I asked for but had very little seasoning the creamed corn was not great but the gnocchi was actually awesome it was creamy with lots of flavor. With drinks I dropped $94 here & I will definitely not come back here.

Uninspired, overpriced with poor service for the win. I’ve made the mistake of eating at this place twice now – once for a business lunch and once for a solo traveller dinner. While the lunch was edible and the steak component of my dinner (barely) acceptable, the price this place charges should demand much higher quality – a sentiment echoed below. Detailed descriptions of the food make me ill, so please just learn from my mistake(s) and avoid if at all possible.
