Very disappointed. Food was as low grade and institution tasting as the ABC Country Restaurant the same owners tried in the same location. Our two sons wouldn’t even finish their food which is very unusual as they are regular garburators. Service was okay…..if the waitress wasn’t fawning over my husband in such a way that made my sons uncomfortable and me laugh.
Worst Ricky’s we’ve ever ate at, and we’ve tried a fair share of them. We eat there because it’s usually good. Medicine Hat Ricky’s you need a new cook!! Food was cold, greasy eggs & bacon, sausages weren’t even browned. The Bavarian Sausage was burned black, the toast was cold with a ton of unmelted butter on them and burned…Ugh!! Wasted $35.
Dear building owners, this is the third, possibly fourth franchise you’ve had in this building. If these businesses aren’t doing well, it reflects on management not the name on your sign. If all the staff was as committed to their jobs as your morning staff, your business would thrive. As far as the new menu, scrambled eggs with a hint of maple syrup? If I wanted maple syrup I would have ordered french toast or pan cakes. Aside from morning staff, I see no reason to visit this place again. Well done Helmut.
