Been here twice now and the experience has always been top notch. The staff are very friendly and attentive and a man who I believe is the owner has come to our table on both visits to see how we were doing. The food is simple but of a high quality for hot dogs and fries and is always hot and fresh. I’ll definitely be back.
Hey TheDude,First off cutting ,stuffing with cheese, and wrapping the dog with bacon is much more time consuming then cooking bacon separately. Our fries are fresh cut also. Apparently when you were in to visit us, we were still fairly new with this concept. As being around 6 months now we have improved greatly on our products. Stop in again, and if not 100% satisfied, we will reimburse your meal… Thanks. HAVE A SMOOTHIE DAY!!!
An new interesting concept. Tried this place a few times and, well it’s ok. Normal. Nothing gross or horrible about it, nothing amazing about it either.Prices: Decent, but its hotdogs fries, etc.Quality: Ok. The bacon dogs are actually wrapped in bacon rather than strips or bacon bits. This seems to be done to reduce time so they only have to cook one item. Unfortunately it causes the bacon to not be crisp, but chewy and you end up pulling topping off your dog. Fries are ok. They are either low quality frozen fries, or they are fresh cut in house (which I think they are) and not cooked properly. Great for poutine but not alone. I’ve yet to try a smoothie. The store: Murals on the walls by local artist. 2 TV’s. A ton of hot sauce. Open kitchen. Friendly staff, and very clean (although it hasn’t had a chance to not be)Overall: I’ll be back if I’m in the area and hungry. I won’t make it a point to stop here though. Basic concept and execution is pretty good. But it seems they’re trying to hard. 50 different hot sauces. Regula Lays and Doritos for toppings. Even M&Ms or frootloops for your hotdog. These seem too gimmicky, where they should truly add to the menu. Pricing seems to be weird to me. This combined with the issues of bacon and the fries make me think the owners do not have the experience to make this last. This is the third hotdog place in town that I’ve seen. The first one didn’t last, the second one was very good but the owner let the quality slide and went out of business quite fast. These guys need to be very careful if they want to stick around.
