  Thought we would try a new restaurant that we haven’t been to. Definitely wouldn’t return. Our waitress didn’t know any of the beers on tap and seemed like she wasn’t trained properly. We ordered the coconut shrimp for a starter, and then got a burger and the basa for our entrees. She came back and told us there wasn’t any coconut shrimp. Then came back again and told us the rice they had for the basa wasn’t good to serve so I needed to pick a new side. Very disappointing experience.

  Awsome dinner tonight first time here and i get told its steak night for 11 bucks good meal good deal great food will be back again

  Bubble and Squeak. Wonderful tasty meal nicely presented, great service,reasonable price. Some of the best food in Medicine Hat!

  Went here on November 17th 2012. We don’t go out to eat a lot. I am not normally a person who speaks up about bad meals. I was out with husband and another couple. it was a UFC night so understandably it’s busy. it took us an HOUR to even get our food with a waitress who was sporadic at best on checking on us. my steak ordered med rare comes to me well done with cold sides. my husbands meal ordered rare comes medium, missing mushroom side. oh and my shrimp were shriveled that I was supposed to pay $5 for. my friends burger bun was as if it was toasted it had been sitting under a lamp for that long. other friends had to ask for her salad dressing. took another half an hour to even get someone to complain to. I get a new steak it looks like a pork chop and I get no new sides. manager comes over and tries to help making every lame excuse like they were too busy. I get a Cesar salad w chicken and the chicken comes to me burnt!!!!! no more waitress I guess.

  Now know as squires! I was there for dinner with friends a few nights ago with friends. I ordered the Rosemary pork tenderloin. It would have been great if the cooks had any idea what they were doing. The pork was so over cooked I could hardly chew it. I assumed they were grilled with a steak weight on them because the grill lines were so thick and deep. The most dominant flavor was the char from the grill marks. The veggies that came with the meal were ICE COLD! not like they had cooled before I tried them but they had never been heated. This was made even better by the fact that my food came out about 7 minutes after everyone elses did. Our waitress was hands down the WORST waitress I have had in my life. Not once did she check how the food was or asked if anyone wanted another drink. If we wanted another drink we would have to call her over from her seemingly permanent coffee break with the bartender and one of the cooks beside the kitchen. I ordered a beer with my meal (a beer I have had and enjoyed before) but it tasted so foul I couldn’t drink it. The only redeeming things were the fries weren’t bad and the garlic toast was awesome. Needless to say, $27 for this means I will never return and recommend no one else wastes their money.
