Pretty Good. I had a chai latte and my boyfriend had an cappuccino. Both were very good. However when we asked for a plain coffee things went a little down hill. We wanted to try an aeropress coffee but they were unable to find the filters for it so we were offered a slow drip coffee instead. Though I can understand the rationale behind it (more infusion, better taste) the coffee was lukewarm by the time it got to us. I didn’t particularly care for it, but it was nice of them to give us an alternative. Overall I would definitely return though!
Cold coffee. This is my 4th trip to station house for coffee. the first time i was very impressed with the coffee. the second time i grabbed a coffee to go and it was cold (dark roast). the third time the dark roast was cold again so i asked them to put it in the microwave. the man working appologized and microwaved it anyway. today when i went in, again the coffee was cold, so i asked the girl to microwave. her and another girl were implying it was because of the cream . i asked them to microwave it and they did so but could really care less that it was cold or that i was unhappy as they did not even appologize. i told them i would not be back again and they could care less about that either. i feel a bit different about business than your employees. i feel that by letting you know on numerous occasions that the coffee is cold i am doing you a favor. obviously nothing is being done to fix the problem and there are other places in medicine hat that serve hot coffee. i have been more than fair and would have really liked to support a small and local coffe house. i guess i will be like the rest and support the chains where the coffee is hot.

Slooooooooow. I visited Station Coffee Company on a Saturday morning around 10:30. It was definitely busy, but the place wasn’t overflowing with customers. There were 4 paying groups ahead of me in line, not abnormal for any coffee shop. I do not exagerate when I say that from the time I walked through the door, to the time I placed my order, I had been there for 15 minutes.2 staff were behind the counter and another in the back, I assume making food. They were friendly and polite, the atmosphere was good, but I’m glad I wasn’t in a hurry that day. After placing my order it took another, I kid you not, 5 minutes to get a latte and a macchiato.I was visiting from out of town so who knows, maybe this wasn’t the norm. All I know is that I’d probably try somewhere else next time I’m there…How was the coffee? Good, but not worth the wait.
First and last stop.. Station was the last stop before I left town for an extended holiday and the first stop upon my return, that should go a long way to say how much I love their coffee and baked goods.
I stopped here after my workout at the YMCA. Great atmosphere. Great staff. I had an excellent Americano coffee and a pastry. There happened to be live music going on. No cover charge! Great place to relax with a book or browsing the internet. Free Wifi, too. AAA
Best London fogs in the Hat for sure! Great atmosphere, great staff… Favourite coffee spot now! The brownies and quiche are amazing! Medicine Hat definitely needed a fresh place like this.
