Since I travel to Medicine Hat quite often, I was on a mission to look for a restaurant that I could call my kitchen away from home. Unfortunately, it won’t be the Mango Tree. The highlight of my meal was the mango smoothie, which was done well! For my entree, however, they came out lukewarm! The curry comes on top of this little candle light that I was unsure of its purpose being purely aesthetic or actually functional, but for sure that did nothing to warm up the food. I understand the needs for kitchen to pre-make sauces, but wouldn’t the minimum expectation be that you reheat it up for me when it’s being served? Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant and it’s truly too bad. Please note that I give all restaurants second chances. I will be back. And hopefully the next time I visit, my food will come out in the right temperature so I can properly assess the quality of this restaurant.
