The environment is great. Servers are hustling and drinks are continuously flowing ! Prices are just steep ! Be ready to spend a lot on drinks especially simple highballs / wells. Shots are cheaper. The homemade chips were great with a variety of dipping sauces to choose from.
The food is really good, a bit pricey but good. But check your bill people, tonight we had to ask our waitress three times to fix the bill and she still over charged us. When we pointed it out she just dropped the change on our table and walked away….it wasnt a huge amount but if they do that to 100 people a night on cheap wing night….
I used to come to Dixons all the time for wing night with my friends many years back but I hadn’t been in quite a while. This morning we decided to try their enticing new brunch menu and were quite pleased. We tried the maple bacon french toast…pretty decent but found there to be a lack of bacon as there was probably only the equivalent of one strip on the plate. The other people at our table ordered the tater tot breakfast poutine and said it was great. My biggest gripe is that they charge $4 for a cup of coffee! There was about 30 of us their for a function and they were accommodating, prompt and friendly. We will be back after they complete their renovations to try more of the menu.
