Don’t be misled. This is a local bar, not really a bar and restaurant. if you look at it that way, you probably won’t be disappointed and may be pleasantly surprised. The place is a bit worn and for a half price pizza and 0.25 cent wing night on Monday, fairly quiet. Beer prices are par for the course but for 2 beers, 2 pizzas and a dozen wings, $40 isn’t bad. Our server was attentive. The pizza was quite good but a bit slow coming out of the kitchen. The toppings are buried under the cheese so its a bit hard without deconstructing your food to tell exactly how much topping there was. I’ll agree that the Jack Daniels wasthe less desirable compared to theHawaiian. They didn’t have the first beer I selected, but that seems to be my curse. The sweet chili wings were great. I’m not sure I’d venture too far into the traditional menu and expect much, but I’ll give it a go next time and see how things turn out.Come for a beer, wings and pizza. Don’t plan a family social event here.
My experience was mediocre at best. My dad and I ordered the Jack Daniels pizza and a couple different flavours of wings. The wings were pretty good. At 25 cents a piece on wednesday, I will be back for the wings. The pizza was quite underwhelming. I had to search for the Jack Daniels sausage as it was quite scarce. A 10 inch pizza is way over priced and not worth it. I will stick to the wings.
Save your money!. What a bloody disaster this once great restaurant has become, the brothers that ran the place have gone missing or just don’t really care anymore, must be making their money off of the vlt’s now because the food, service and overall experience of dining there is a big fat zero. i hope someone in the family reads the reviews on this dump! the bartender has absolutely no conscience whatsoever and she just offends all paying customers while sucking up to the barflies that buy her free drinks. will never darken that doorway again, what a shame! don’t waste your time and money folks…
Service. I love this place the food is always amazing and service is almost up to par until Nikki leaves. The lady with the short blonde hair has no customer service skills she is not friendly but in her defence I think she is just to busy she needs someone else to help her she is always stuck behind the bar or only hits the first few ppl then skips a few … She has never tried to engage with us being a weekend server that’s unfortunate for the bars sake I think it would be good and helpful for her to have a co worker to serve the vlt section . Nikki can handle it but on the weekends you might need two ppl . This is not her fault but being a server myself It is terrible service when you have 3 other girls standing around serving the resteraunt section and she is to busy … But at the same time it takes certain ppl to serve and I have seen her cringe at many behind there backs. She needs another server on with her or needs to find somewhere in family joint with no booze and not as much needy customers cause she can’t cut it alone … Nice girl but needs help on the floor
The bartender is absolutely wasted and useless, and to boot, a manager and another staff member are drinking with her!!!! Unbelievable, super unprofessional and the service is completely lacking. The only server/bartender that is on can barely stand let alone get drinks and food. It’s actually embarrassing!
Dried ribs.. I always liked the food, especially the dried ribs, which are fantastic. I hadn’t been there in about a year, and was craving them. they weren’t quite as good as before, maybe it was just a bad day.
Meh. Pizza was missing a lot of toppings. I shared it with a buddy of mine and we were both asking if it (the European) even had any meat on it, lol. so we weren’t feeling very full from the lrg pizza and ordered the potato skins. what a joke! zero points for presentation and if I could take more points away for lack of effort or care I would. I’ve given this place many chances but there is far better places for pizza and spuds.
