The food is not bad but inconsistent in terms of quality and quantity. Sometimes when I ordered the XL pho, the portion is the same as a S. Happened a few times so will only go there as a last resort.When the original owners ran the North location, it was always much better.
The pho here is so good! I can’t get enough of it. I have been a regular here for awhile and the broth of the soup never disappoints. If your looking for good pho in the south, no need to look any further
Gotta have Pho when I’m sick. They go a little heavy on the fish sauce in the broth and cut the beef balls into tiny chunks. I’ve had better, but it doesn’t suck and the location is convenient when you live nearby. I’ll be back.
I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but this last time the pho tai broth was cold and flavourless. What was worse was the big dirty dish trolly that rolled by with a massive bucket full of food waste, visible for all the customers to see. It made me want to throw up. GET RID OF THE TROLLIES and take dishes in and out by tray.

One of the larger and moderately better Vietnamese restaurants in the south, Pho So 1 has a pretty extensive menu of basic phos, noodles and rice dishes.It’s a reliable meal if you want decent Vietnamese food, but I haven’t eaten anything there yet that has stood out as amazing.What I like about the place is that I’ve never had a problem getting in for lunch and service runs like clockwork. They may not talk to you a whole lot during your visit, but the food comes out quickly and someone will be around to fill your drinks.
Sad. We eat used to eat at this restaurant all the time the food has always been pretty decent however lately the service has gone so far down hill that we will never be returning again so sad because it was so close to home but just can’t support a business that does not have any customer service whatsoever
