I recently went to Dixie lee on white ave . I’ve been there before good chicken and lots of fries . I ordered a 3 piece chicken dinner an extra chicken breast and 2 large coleslaws . When I got home I opened my dinner box to find that I only had like 25 French fries in it . I was in shock !! I called them right away to find out what happened and the lady told me that there weighing the fries for each box now !!! Well that’s my last time going there I guess . I’m from Moncton NB the Dixie lee in Moncton has to put tape on there dinner boxes to keep them closed there so full of fries . The cheapest food on earth is fries and smart restaurant owners know that . Dixie lee on white ave has just lost my business and I’m sure they will be loosing many of there customers . I’ve seen so many take-outs fail for the same reason . What a shame to destroy the good Dixie lee name for the sake of a few French fries . So so so so stupid

We have been here a few times now for the fish and chips. Just loved the way it is lightly battered. We have also tried there chicken and poutine, Both are now my Saturday night pick up 10 piece meal for the kids and the fish for me.Very clean place with wonderful staff. Last Friday night we ate in and the staff gave the kids some crayons and paper to keep busy and even offered them free ice cream. Not to many places do special things like this anymore,

It was good. The garlic fingers could have had a little more substance to them but the clams, fish and poutine were spot on. Will be back when I need a back home, whole clam fix!

Poutine was like I went back to Montreal. Chicken was cold and not something i would go back for. Mind you this was 10 minutes before they close, but still not an excuse! I’d go back for the poutine and try the fish next time. I’ll keep you posted.

It’s pretty good. Very fast service (fast food so it should be). Place was quite busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying the chicken. I had fish and chips and it was exactly as greasy as one would expect. I’ll come back to try the chicken for sure

If you’re looking to indulge in some fried goodness, this place is worth a try. Lots of variety on their menu. Their menu selection includes fried chicken, fried fish, fried scallops, fried calms, poutines, pizzas, sandwiches, salad, side salads (coleslaw, macaroni), and other sides (fries, onion rings, etc). What caught my eye about this place was that they offered seafood options on their menu. Their fried chicken, fried fish, gravy, and coleslaw were pretty good. The fried chicken and fish were battered nicely and served fresh out of the kitchen. We also ordered their Montreal Style Poutine which used french fries with skin on them, cheese curds, and their house gravy. Their gravy and coleslaw were flavourful and unique. Unfortunately, the chicken nuggets and onion rings were disappointing as they looked and tasted like they came from a big brand grocery store. Service was great. The staff is bilingual French-English which is so fitting to the Bonniedoon neighbourhood. The manager and lady at the front were super friendly, enthusiastic, hospitable, and had a great sense of humour. You can always find them with a genuine smile and greeting. They were receptive and offered great customer service. The restaurant itself is renovated and has two seating areas with multiple seating options. The larger dining area is new, clean, and bright. I’m not sure why did not open up the whole space to be in one area. At first, it appears the space is two separate restaurants. Other than that, I still have to try their fried scallops and calms. Their fried chicken, poutine, and fish & chips were pretty good. Worth checking out
