Pub food!. It was a pub and we weren’t expecting much. We arrived on a friday night (early) and ordered from the extensive menu. The food took a long time to come out but when it did we were quite happy and full afterwards. The bill was correct and the prices were more than fair for the amount of food we got. Sure, the staff are mostly indifferent and the service is long but it’s a PUB not a swanky restaurant so we were ok with it. I went with my sister who has a zero-tolerance level in restaurants and she didn’t say boo at the delay, which was abnormal for her (she can get pretty mouthy at the staff if she’s not pleased). So, I’d say this was a hit. Great food! Fresh and tasty and hot.
Pretty bad. We went here for the first time the weekend after Halloween. Not very warm & inviting was my first impression. Drinks were poor, my friend had a Caesar which was disgusting. The waitress was not interested in us at all. We had our one drink & left quickly.
Gallaghers has done a great job since the new management came in march 2012. The place is bright and clean, all the old crabby staff is gone and the food is off the hook, fresh and homemade corn fritters, pizza and the best REAL fries anywhere. If you had a bad experience in the past, it’s worth giving them a second chance. All the old stoner staff is gone replaced with real professionals. Open till 2am 7 days a week with the kitchen open till 2 everyday with .35 cent wings, not just on Wednesday’s.
