Friendly staff, and very very large game collection. It’s only 2.50 per hour to play games which is super cheap and I really love that. Food selection is a little limited but food they do have is great. I loved the pesto sandwich I got. Good drinks too.
Awesome place to hang with a lot of friends. TONS of board games to play. Ordered a latte and froth/flavor was really good. You could tell they took tons of pride in making the drinks. GF had a hot chocolate and tasted really chocolaty and had a nice texture. Not your run of the mill hot chocolate. Would stop by just for the drinks.
Great environment to make real connections. Last evening I went to the Hexagon with my family for a couple of hours. We were all new to the concept but the atmosphere was friendly and we quickly found a table. First we ordered iced lattes (yummy! and they offer almond milk as a sub), then we picked a game (fish eat fish, cute and fun). One of the owners was there and he helped us decide on an easy game to start with. Also, since it can be tough to pick up a game that you have never seen, he gave us the run down on how to play (very helpful!). There was food available too, my mom and I ordered ham sandwiches (fresh ingredients, bread a little dry). My family and I had such an amazing time because the service was friendly and efficient, while the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. This is not a snobby board game place. After my family left a bunch of my friends came and we started a new game. This was later on a friday so I had some of the blonde lager that they offer. Some of my friends ordered food, the cinnamon bun (which looked warm and melty, a good sign) and one of the meat pies (which the consumer raved about, in a good way). The friendly and quick service continued on into this new scenario, and the owner remained helpful, even as we got more intoxicated (so it took more time to explain the following game). You can tell there is a love for this business, as they don’t even push you out when its closing time, they let everyone finish their games. I never usually write reviews but I just had to for this one, go there for a chill time with the family or a semi-rowdy time with the friends, you won’t regret it!
