Average food, high prices, poor attitude. I used to come here every so often because the food is decent, the crowds smaller than Ginseng and the price was modest. My last visit was a real eye opener.Service was decent, food quality was decent. Food selection the same as it was 5-7 years ago. The price is now quite high for what they offer, $30 a person. You now have to eat your meal in 90mins or less. The restaurant is falling apart and is in dire need of renovations. The vinyl plank flooring is coming apart at every joint which im sure poses tripping hazards. Instead of repairing this, they have carpet runners covering the high traffic areas. It just shows laziness to me. The walls and ceiling are greasy looking. Even the dinnerware is questionable, is it greasy and dirty or just old? They also offer karaoke upstairs in poorly contructed rooms that have no noise suppression between rooms. I could barely hear my own song over the rooms across the hallway. Song selection is limited as they dont have a lot of the newer songs available yet. They also charge $35 per hour for this which is quite high compared to other places that are far more superior. Overall this place is a fail with the food being the only saving feature. I don’t think this restaurant is aware of what it takes to be competitive and to earn the high prices they charge.

Dirty Dishes. The glasses and plates were so filthy -it didn’t look washed whatsoever. Absolutely disgusting. We sent back our dishes FOUR TIMES. Get a better dish washer or the server should at least check the state of the dishes before giving it to the customer.

The restaurant needs a major cleanup. So greasy. The owner can be rude. Par-average korean food with 70s deco…. Cheap out on ingredients.. I wouldnt go there again.

I’m going to compare this place to Ginseng. I call it an excellent backup/alternate universe of Ginseng.. It was $29 per person including pop (fill up yourself Costco style machine). Ginseng is supposed to be $32 nowadays before tax and tip? or $35?Regardless, I’d pay the extra $3 or $6 for Ginseng because you get more seafood, hot food, etc. The only reason why you’d prefer to come here is probably the low salt content. I didn’t feel thirsty after the meal. I could actually taste the pork, chicken, beef ribs, bacon, etc. The hot food consisted of veggie tempura and cinnamon deep fried tempura things that are quite good after you re-heat it on the grill. I think this is a very modestly ran family restaurant. The service was friendly. It deserves to exist and it’s in a very cozy strip of Korean stores. I felt very good to be in this neighborhood. Would I come back here in a jiffy? No. But then I wouldn’t rush back to Ginseng any other day either. Let’s just say I was happy to find this place because I thought Ginseng was the only Korean BBQ restaurant in town. Other than that, I feel like the price should be $25 including pop given the very low selection of meats/seafood/hot food. It was fun to hang out in this seclusive part of town. I mean it.
