Ugh.. I had koyoto from downtown few days ago and it was sooo yummy so was craving the items I had there.. I went to this location today and they didn’t have the same menu so I ordered a sushi lunch box.. Sloppily made, fish was cut jagged and was fine on one side and soggy on the other and was dried out on corners so was obviously not fresh at all!! Disgusting!!! I will never go back there again! But will definaty make the trip to the other locations as they are amazing!!
Worst sushi and service in Edmonton. Sashimi was very light peach and the tuna was grey old and dry. Rolls were sloppy and made with old fish. Edemane was brown and flavourless. Do not confuse this place with the Kyoto on 109st.
Always YUM. My friend and I always order sushi from here, they are quick and the sushi is fresh and amazing. I have had tons of sushi from all over the city but this place is the best. Such a good variety of all kinds for any persons particular choice. My favorite are the avocado shrimp rolls!Will always go back
A friend and I came into Kyoto and ordered a sushi combo and some rolls. My first complaint is that the menu had obscure roll names and zero description of what was included inside the rolls. The server said she could go through it all but that would be an extensive list and would be unlikely that I’d remember all of it. When our meal came out the fish was not fresh at all and the meal was overall unappetizing. We came in hungry and left without finishing and without our appetites. I am generally not too picky of an eater and wouldn’t call myself a sushi connoisseur but this was bad sushi. The up side was that the server was friendly but I definitely won’t be back or making recommendations.

Great service, unsatisfactory food. The service staff was extremely friendly and positive, however the food was not technically sound and didn’t taste great. Compared to other sushi restaurants in town, the sushi wasn’t fresh and wasn’t cut properly. It was a large disappointment to say the least. If you’re looking for some sushi, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
