This place is a nice bakery! Their pastries all look too pretty to eat. Weve got cakes and eclairs here! I wanted to also get more pastries, but wallet cant handle spending anymore money haha. It was also a similar vibe to Duchess! A little more on the sweeter side but I did like these sweets.
Got to know about this beautiful and bit secluded cafe in white avenue, edmonton. With few tables placed outside the cafe for amazing view and with simple decor inside the cafe gives you so much positivity that you would love to visit this beautiful cafe again. We had:Paris BrestVanilla bean sour cherry cheesecakeCaramel Apple danishHot chocolatePistachio eclairsTiramisu clairEverything was so perfect and delicious. I loved the Paris Brest and Caramel apple danish the most. I would highly recommend to try these for your sweet tooth.

Tiramisu Eclair, Carrot Cake, Pain au Chocolat, Americano and LatteBaked goods is forever a weakness to me. Eclairs are the top of my list though. So when someone told me that La Boule had the best I had to try it. Best of both worlds over here with the Tiramisu Eclair. It is as good as everyone says. Everything about it is good, its a light dough and even a lighter filling, almost have to handle this thing like it was a baby. Carrot Cake taste is crazy good as well. Although a friend pointed out the ratio of icing to cake is off, I totally agree. Pain au Chocolat is nice and light with a good bit of chocolate inside. Americano and latte here was just ok to me as ive had it better at other coffee shops and bakeries. Id also like to note that even though not pictured, the cruffins and croissants here in general as decent as well. Brought all the flavors to a party and the peaches and cream one was the best. I need it cause you know that Im a fiend. Location of La Boule is just east of Whyte ave and its a small place to hang out and eat some of the best desserts with good service. They do alot of things right here while some other bakeries have the upper hand on some items. Regardless its a great bakery and one worth visiting for the variety alone. Sal says: Just Eat It (4/5)@duchessgummybunzz says: The fair trade coffee was more than fair tasting, and it paired delightfully with my flakey eclair. Good vibes until i saw a wasp struggling in the window. Almost perfect score 5/7.
Lots to choose from at La Boule, all in house made baking. Presentation is fabulous as each item appears perfect and identical to the ones next to it. Flavors are as expected and do not disappoint. . .
Terrible customer service! I placed an online order almost one week in advance. At the time of pickup, I was told by the owner that my order was not received. The owner also repeatedly advised me to check my junk mail, however no email or phone call was made on their part. The owner took no ownership on their part and instead blamed me for their mistake. I left feeling belittled and disrespected. After I left the store, one of employees called me to explain that they had in fact received my order, but that they had forgotten to follow up with me on their end! No apologies were issued at all by the owner. If you plan on placing a preorder through this bakery, just do yourself a favor and order through Duchess Bakery or another local establishment that knows how to treat their customers with dignity and respect.
This has got to be my new favourite bakery! The lemon tart (and I dont usually like anything lemon flavored) and the pistachio eclair are a must try!
