I went to Narayanni’s with some friends and made a video of my time there. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and polite and it’s a buffet, so if your hungry you can eat to your hearts content! I recommend this restaurant!
Went here a few years ago and loved it. Everything tasted amazing, plenty of variety and great service. I had been raving about it for a long time. Returned a few weeks ago with some friends and was very disappointed. I get that not everything on the menu can be out on the buffet line but this felt very empty. On top of that you have to purchase bread separately from the buffet. I have never heard of that at an Indian buffet. There were no accompaniments as is traditional of Indian meals. ie. pickles, chutney. Felt as though they advertise a large menu but present the bare minimum to justify a meal. Dont get me wrong. The taste is probably one of the best in Edmonton but it felt like it was being held back to save money. Roti and/or nan should be included in the price for what people pay at this place. I think Im done promoting this place. Going south to 34 av for value. Felt disappointed.
One my absolute favourite restaurants. The menu changes always, so you’re always able to experiment with a new variety of choices and find your next favourite dish. It’s buffet style South African Indian food, and the vegan nights are amazing.
Terrible food experience. They stopped restocking food with more than an hour left until seating stopped. One item was plainly not available by the time we got there at 7:30 and items kept dwindling during our hour dining experience. Desserts looked appealing on their website but didn’t live up in terms of taste. Felt bad for the people who showed up after we did paying full price for 1/3 less of the food choice. Never going back. Many better choices in the city for a better price.
It’s not child friendly that’s for sure . Full price for children 4 and over????? Who is going to pay $25 extra to have their toddler eat nothing.
