Used to be good. Went for Mothers day brunch and what a waste. Everything was dry not much to choose from and very slow to refill buffet. I used to come here when Cesar owned it and now is just horrible. Oh not to mention $17.95 a plate that we will never get back and I will never go back! Should have listened to the wife and gone to Bonanza buffet 🙁
It was horrible I wish I would have read other reviews before having this bad experience 30 bucks for 2 mediums that were cold and it tasted like 7-11 pizza which they sell for 8 for a large. The people were nice just bad food.
Not the old Millhurst Pizza…gone way downhill. The old MP was vastly superior to the subsequent ownership changes. The buffet was stocked, home cooked, generous, and the pizza was what was expected from a pizza place. The new ownership is apparently only one month old, so time will tell (sounds like previous recent owners drove it into the ground out of cheapness). Arrived Friday evening and seated myself and had to look for cutlery. While going to the buffet, my cutlery showed up on the table (second set). There were dirty tables and only a few patrons. There were two small dried out pieces of pizza. I took one so the others could fight over the last piece. The racks remained empty until I asked if more would come. The lame excuse was someone had to pick one and they would leave the left overs out (so, this created a long delay and others were not able to go up for more during this time). The pizza was skimpy, tasted OK, but not the former glory days. Some silver buffet trays were empty. The salad dressings were still in their bottles in a bowl. There was hardly any packaged garden salad out. Most of the other dishes were dry and little left to pick from at prime time. I was not sure what was Costco frozen food, old food from another day, or today’s dried out food. When I was done, some new chicken came out. It and the thin roast beef rolls were probably fresh, but pyrogies, spring rolls, etc., ? There was no price listed, so I was afraid I was about to get ripped off. In the end, it was $15.95, so I did not feel so bad. The desserts were few and stale squares. The two ice cream pails (poor kids) were virtually empty and hard to scoop out the freezer burned scraps. There were no toppings, no free beverages (finally offered stale tap water). There is no excuse to have so little and so old during prime time Friday night after one month of ownership. The ice cream pails should have been replaced long ago. The slim pickings for some items should not have gone that low with so few people around. I suggested that if a professional food reviewer came, they would be done like dinner as a business. I suspect old patrons wander in or order out from past memory. I doubt anyone now would return or would be scared off when they walk in and check things out. There is potential to improve vastly, but they better get their act together soon. There was some good food and you get what you pay for. For not much more, terrible Bonanza looks 5-star.
