Its been a while since ive been here but I have to say there has always been great service and food when Ive gone. The managers seem a bit off when ive come across them, but thats usually how it goes in these restaurant chains. Our server was on her phone part of the time but she was friendly and prompt when she needed to be. Overall not bad
Went here with 5 people including 2 kids. Our server Lisa was excellent. The food took a while to come out, but was worth the wait. Everyone enjoyed their choice (beef dip, cheese steak, halibut burger, and beef burger). Drinks were refilled as needed. The price was reasonable ($78 total). I think at other comparable chain restaurants it would have cost more for no additional value. I wish there was White Spot in Saskatoon.
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat after their lunch rush. Not busy. Place is clean. Service is below average. Disappointed in the burger. Menu says Legendary beef burger is 1/4 lb., but the patty is smaller than a regular sized hamburger at McDonald’s. Fries were good. Menu says endless fries, but none were offered. Left semi-satisfied, but definitely won’t be back anytime soon. I prefer the burgers at their Triple O restaurants in BC.
When we arrived we stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes. When My appetizer came with a nice long black hair in it and no apology given. My food was bland. I couldn’t get my check fast enough. Definitely enough for me to not come back.
Came her for brunch around 11:30 am. For the price was really impressed, compared to places like perkins and rickies, it definitely is better and usually rickies is our spot. If your looking for good non greasy breakie check it out. You won’t be disappointed. Service was great to and we only waited 10 mins for our food. Little hidden gem for a good breakfast.
Decent food, nice service. It isn’t anything special but it’s a nice place to have dinner with family. We had the fried three cheese ravioli, clam chowder, and PBJ Burger. Of the three plates, I enjoyed the fried ravioli the most. Crispy on the outside with warm cheese on the inside, what’s not to like? I think the PBJ burger isn’t for everyone. I can’t say I enjoyed the combination of peanut butter and beef, but it was interesting. Just a warning that the clam chowder is Manhattan style, in case you’re not a fan.
A party of six of us went to the White Spot just off Barlow trail in northeast Calgary. I had the full rack of ribs which were tender and meaty. The fries were heavily salted and barely room temperature. I had to chase down the waitress to get another order of ‘bottomless fries’. These were worse yet. As a matter of fact, I would question if the fries were actually made out of potatoes, rubbery on the outside and pasty on the inside and nasty salty. Other meals were the Halibut (sure glad I didn’t order that plate, 3 small pieces each the size of a human ear), Sirloin steak(medium actually cooked to a med well), and a rather sparse quesadilla. The entrees in general were tasty but tepid, the sides were a complete failure, and the service was just about non existent considering there were five tables occupied in the entire establishment. There are far better choices for food on the South side of 32nd avenue. We will not return.
