PLEASE READ THIS. Today (Father’s day) was the first time my family and I went back to Azucar for a family dinner after 3 years and it is upsetting to see that it is still the same. First when ordering, my sister ordered empanadas, she changed her mind literally a minute after and when she went to the kitchen counter to tell them she wanted something else, they told her that it was impossible as her food was already done. The owner overhead what was going on and instead of supporting the customer she told my sister that her order couldn’t be changed. This was literally a minute after initially ordering!!What this tells me is that they’re cheap, not business oriented and don’t care about customer service as they would rather lose a customer than waste 3 dollars for the empanadas.The second incident involved finding a hair in my salad. When I told the server this she merely apologized.I did not complain about the hair or demanded the food be free, but a more experienced/educated staff would have offered some sort of compensation.My family noticed that all the cooks in the back had their hair down.We are Peruvian and it is truly sad to see the one Peruvian restaurant in Edmonton be represented this way. No wonder we were the only ones there on a busy day, of course apart from the owners who couldn’t be bothered to offer better customer service.WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!
