One of our go to family restaurants I think we hit the place once a month at least, best staff they care, seems to be a family run place, never have we had a bad meal here. Not trendy so you better be coming for the food, and no it not a commercialized taste that you see a franchise places
This evening at the north east restaurant we saw a mouse running around the floor. It was under our table for a while, then it went to another table. We both observed it under the seating part, then it leapt vertically upwards into the underside of the seat. It did this several times before staying inside the seat.We spoke to the waiter, who told us that it’s hard to keep things clean, and explained about cockroaches, and talked about how they come up through the sewer and stuff. Not really an ideal conversation when we were eating pho, but oh well. Anyway, hope they can take care of the mice that live in their seats. Would make things a lot cleaner.
I’ve found it! A solid Vietnamese spot close by. Craving vermicelli and pho I decided to try Saigon Flavors after being underwhelmed with the other options around. Also, the fact that their prices were also less than the others made this an easy choice. The vermicelli was great, a little light on the noodles but other than that very tasty. Their fish sauce was perfect and the grilled pork and chicken were wel marinated. Their beef pho was delicious – deep brown in color which made sense since the taste was packed with flavor. Will definitely be back whenever I feel like Vietnamese and don’t want to far of a drive.
