This is my third time eating here, this time I decided to try their mini burgers and taco fries which are new items on their menu. The burgers were really good, but the taco fries were out of this world amazing. I hope that I can find some pictures of the pizza that I had there last time because it was also incredible. This really is a hidden gem in the city and you need to try it if you havent before.
I had the rocket lunch soup and sandwich, it was at the table in just a few minutes and was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in a hurry but still want great food.
Heard people talking about new owner, have nothing to compare to because this was my first time. Nice cozy space. Was waiting for friends, waitress was very nice and had beer while I waited for them to show up. Had a great night of karaoke. There seemed to be a lot of regulars. Marhgerita pizza had a little too much cheese, I love cheese but more than I’m used to on that type of pizza. Friends ordered platter which they enjoyed and took home, was a large serving. Waitress was very attentive all night. Think I will try the steak next time.
I didn’t went for long time to black bull ! I went for lunch I ordered black bull burger it was different from the last time! I found it to soggy for me! The waitress she was good and smiling as always! But I am was I little disappointed because they took out a few good plates from the old menu
Tonight we came in with a group of 45, they did an amazing job at accommodating us! Food was great, nice environment and fast friendly service, even with our giant group!
This place has new owners but we tried it out anyway. It used to be our favourite pizza and lasagna joint. I tried it a couple times since the originals sold and I won’t go back. The service was brutal and we were the only table inside. The pizza and lasagna is not the same. They changed the recipe or something and ruined it. We threw it out and ordered from somewhere else. The booths were dirty and covered in dust. Plus my buddy told me he ordered pizza at work and he found a hair in it. Too bad cause this place was a gem.
New review (2016): Turned away at the door in Fall 2016 and told we would have to wait 1-1.5hrs if we weren’t part of a gathering (despite there being empty tables at the front of the restaurant and the gathering appearing to be at the rear of the restaurant). We drove all the way from Stony Plain to eat here. Not happy! Old review (2015): My husband and I went here while we waited for our time-slot at Breakout Entertainment, and the menu all sounded so good. Our waitress was very friendly, and when she saw that we were unsure of what to order she asked if pizza was one of our choices (yes) and she immediately recommended we order the pizza. We did. O.M.G. It was delicious. Absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, and will be coming back for dinner whenever we are in the West End (definitely going to make a point of going back when we go to Breakout again, too!).
