Well I have been to Black Bull twice now, the first time was great, I had their steak and it was cooked as ordered and tasty. Now the second time the Black Bull burger was good and the service was excellent. However I signed up with their loyalty club on an app called Flok, when you are physically at the restaurant it lets you CHECK IN, and you can win a free pizza or burger platter. I won a burger/pizza and informed the waitress. She was great but didn’t know about the app so went to ask her day manager. The day manager came to my table and didn’t know about the app. I showed it to him and he said he would call someone above him and let me know. Almost an hour later I was done my food but the day manager still hadn’t talked to me. I paid for my food said the food/service was good to the waitress but I’m not impressed with the day manager. He should have given me the free food and apologized. Its pretty bad when a restaurant doesn’t know about its app and worse that they won’t honor it.
Love their pizza here. Had the Canadian Eh. Maybe best crust in Edmonton! I have also had their steak sandwich on another occasion and it was cooked perfectly medium rare, had shrimp, mushrooms, and onions on top.
