Was super pleased to find an all day dim sum place! Not it’s not little carts to choose off of, but you get to order what you like over a menu and they bring it out hot and fresh. Staff was polite we all had a great experience.
I like this place. Dim sum all day! They have a picture menu which is awesome! You order what you want and they bring it out all at the same time! Oh and it’s cheap too! What’s not to like about that!
Best Chinese restaurant. Service was great. Shrimp with peaches and cream is my favorite. Pricey but worth it.
Favorite Lunch Spot. We dine here for lunch at least 2 times a week and are never disappointed. I don’t understand the reviews about small portion sizes. Whatever I order is always enough for my lunch and then its packed up and I have my lunch for the next day. The Chinese chicken noodle soup is amazing. Tons of chicken and vegetables……Best soup ever. And the Curry chicken chow mein is also very good. The staff are very friendly and usually know what we order and we have never had bad service.
There’s a restaurant for everyone – it’s all about clientele and what you want. If you want good, down-to-earth service in a cozy environment where there are no annoying push carts and people talking loudly in Chinese – this is the place for you. If you want traditional Chinese dim sum where it brings significant value and consistency, along with the atmosphere of push-carts and people mingling loudly in a crowded atmosphere, then this is not the place for you. Examples – Jumbo, Urban China, Cha for Tea, etc.I found service to stand out the best here. The owner actually cares about you and speaks very good English. I think she speaks Chinese too. The food was OK, sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss. The prices are high no matter if it’s a hit or a miss. So you have been warned. I would call this below average for bang for your buck but if you want service, there’s just no other dim sum place in Edmonton that will give you a damn about you except this place. The food was home-made and authentic. It doesn’t taste like it’s massively made. It’s made to order and felt like it was catered to the client. Some dishes need improvement and I wonder if I can help them with that through reviews or just sit down and eat dish by dish and give them feedback (but I don’t want to pay $5 a hit per dish to do that!!!)Anyways, this was a hidden surprise for me and a hidden gem for many, give this place a shot if you ever wonder who would dare to open a dim sum restaurant with Jumbo and Cha for Tea nearby. Gutsy move. But come see it for yourself and you might understand how it survives on its own.
Yuck! Everything was chewy and slimy. Should have known – there were no Asian people there. Never a good sign.
We came to dim sum delight for lunch, the service was friendly and fast, received complimentary tea, the food was tasty and arrived quick, portion sizes were large for dim sum. The shrimp cakes were delicious and the lemon grass chicken skewers were crispy in the outside and juicy on the inside( hard to accomplish when the meat is so thin). I would recommend this place for lunch
