We’ve dealt with Marty’s/Donna’s for quite a few years now. Most of these comments are spot on. In the past we’ve primarily have had them deliver pizza and sandwiches, and we’ve never been disappointed. But for the first time, my wife and I have gone for breakfast, because let’s face it, delivery just doesn’t work for breakfast food. The first time we went we had the breakfast special. A large portion of chunky potatoes, two eggs any style, two pieces of Texas toast, and without a word of a lie, I’d estimate half a package of bacon for EACH meal. That sure beats the 3, maybe 4 pieces you get at most restaurants. On our second visit, the wife had the special again (she’d literally kill for bacon I think) and I decided to gamble and have the steak and eggs. Everything exactly the way I like it. Steak, perfectly cooked, eggs were perfect, same for the spuds and toast. If your fat and hungry like I am, and want to get your money’s worth AND get very tasty food, you really want to try this place at least once for yourself.
BLT is a monster. With an inch of bacon. It must be experienced!!! I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. Delicious sandwiches.
My hubbie Ordered sandwiches yesterday to go and it was out of this world!!! They load up on meat and its a tasty treat!! Can’t wait to go back!
Order a club sandwich and get a flat piece of bread with nothing in it, but not this place. The club sandwich is 3 inches high with tons of Turkey slices topped with real bacon, and other goodness!!! The place is a little out of date but the food is on point. Pizza by the slice and all home made in shop right I front of u. Order the turkey club and prepare to be given the new standard for sandwiches!!!
My review is a combination of Martys Pizza and Donnas Eatery because they appear to be two names for one location, with slightly different menus. The pizza (part of martys menu) was decent, not the highest quality but for the price it’s decent. It reminded me a lot of pizza from Hollywood Pizza which I grew up eating as a kid so I actually didn’t mind it. Wings were good. The garlic cheese bread was pretty much a round pizza crust with garlic/parmesan topping cut into strips. The dipping sauce it came with had ground beef in it and tasted exactly like a bolognese sauce – wondering if maybe they made a mistake because I’m pretty sure they serve spaghetti. The donair (which is from the donnas menu) was so-so. Definitely far from being the best but it wasn’t bad. The meat wasn’t the best because I don’t believe it was cooked on the standard vertical rotisserie, it looked like pre-cooked strips of donair meat which takes away from the taste/juiciness you get from cooking it the standard way. The tomatoes were a bit over ripe so they mushed when eaten which I found to not be as appetizing. The sweet sauce was okay, but wasn’t very prominent in taste and sweetness. It tasted more like heavy cream with a hint of sugar. All in all, I would probably order the pizza and wings again if I didn’t feel like splurging for panago/BP’s, I could probably do without the garlic/cheese bread and I’d go elsewhere for a donair.
Clubhouse Sandwich. The bowl of soup that came with it could not fit in the picture. Amazing food at amazing prices
Love the sandwiches but need a calory count. The sandwiches are always fresh and very good but I need someone to add up the calories for the sandwiches.
