Went here with hubby yesterday for a late lunch. Server was really lovely and helpful. We ordered steak and Guinness pie. It came with mashed potatoes and warm gravy. Nothing else! No veggies ! Had to order carrots as the only other option was peppers and zucchini, thats not Irish I can assure you. Carrots came out chargrilled and completely raw. I mean seriously raw, not al dente either. Couldnt eat them. I dont eat raw veggies with cooked meat and potatoes, neither to the Irish for that matter. The pie was nice, but certainly not an Irish pie or even a british pie. Not much meat in the pie, a few button mushrooms. Gravy was tasteless and warm, like my gravy hot personally. Ambience was blah and unlike any Irish/ British pub Ive ever been to. Prices quite high too, especially for the quality of the food. Im thinking the Cisco truck delivers to this restaurant every week just like all the other chain restaurants and nursing homes!!!Wont be going again to this or any other location. And please, lets get these female servers out of these ridiculous mini kilts they have to wear and get them a 21st century uniform because they look like hookers serving food. Funny how the men dont have these silly uniforms eh!!!!! Its not Hooters!

I love this place. The food is excellent, they have a wide variety of options (including vegetarian, kid friendly and gluten-free) on the menu, it’s family oriented without being hokey, the staff are awesome, the Guinness is poured perfectly, the whiskey selection is phenomenal, the washrooms are pristine (they even have a change table in the men’s room), there’s live music and it’s just a big welcoming room. If you’re in a super hurry then get fast food, but if you want a perfect place for a pint after work, a place to take your family or go on a date then this is it.
Beauty night, cool patio, decent drink special.Food was good, everyone seemed happy, I got the steak and fries and it was damn tasty! Ambiance is ok, major road right outside though which sucks but the west facing patio allows for maximum sunlight. Service overwhelming slow. Nice guy but some of the slowest service I’ve seen.ONE CHANGE: Add something to the door so people actually know its for the patio. My family decided to eat here on Father’s Day (June 19, 2016), and there were about 8 of us. The waitress was friendly, however everything else sucked. We waited for our meals for over an hour, and we were told that the kitchen was slammed. Looking around the restaurant, there were three other tables with parties of two people, and that was it. The manager came out and said they would do something about our bill. When we finally got our food, everyone’s except mine was awful. A few of them ordered the fish and chips, and I watched them try to gnaw through the battered baseball bats of fish. It was hardly edible. How do you mess up fish and chips? Someone else ordered the Vegetable Ragu, being able to only have a few bites because of how salty it was. My mom’s chicken pot pie and potatoes were okay, but definitely not spectacular by any means. How do you mess up potatoes? When we got our bill, it was just over $200. They only took $55 off to account for the slow service. So we paid a lot of money for stomach aches and inedible food. This location just opened up, so hopefully they get their management, staffing, and food quality under control. If I were the manager, I would be back in the kitchen helping the two chefs that were in that night.
went for a late lunch on a Saturday now this location has only been open for about a month enough time to iron out issues…well maybe they need more time or need better trained staff our waitress apparently has never served before or if she has she really needs to find another line of work…plain awful service but just from her everyone else seemed to know what they were doing from the hostess to the manager and every other server in the place…(our drinks which I had to ask for were brought by another server as was our food and finishedplates) didn’t see much of our server she was too busy with the table besides us and their issues (another long story)…as for the food mine was medium warm and the pastry seemed like it was days old the outside poutine was bloody awful tasted like soggy cardboard my partner had the chicken pot pie on spinach which a few hours later did not agree(was the only thing he ate all day) as for going back I will try it again as we have been to the one in Calgary (Cross Inn Mills) and loved it maybe next time i’ll take my chances and sit at the bar
