TO BE CLEAR…the 2 is for the food, NOT the show we saw this evening CANADA 151…the show was a 10….as was the service…excellent musical performances by everyone, the buffet however, has been pared down so much over time that it hardly rates anything….Nothing exciting, special or tasty, that you couldnt get at a Buffet Royal for $25. If the option to skip the meal and just see the show was offered, its the way i would go!

Fantastic entertainment at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre! We saw The Simon and Garfunkel Show and it was wonderful. And now to the food as, of course, this is a food app…It’s a typical buffet with an array of dishes to choose from.Cocktails: I had the featured drink called Scarborough Fair (remember it was the Simon and Garfunkel show) with vodka, peach schnapps and iced strawberry mix. It was a nice fruity refreshment. My mom had the Ciroc Pickled Caesar which was fantastic (she let me have a few sips as it was a pretty powerful drink and she needed extra Clamato to tame it). My hubby and dad had the Mrs Robinson Rum Punch. Hubby never finished his and I had a sip and it was very boozy and not too flavourful. I kinda wanted to order he Central Park Reunion coffee but didn’t want coffee before dinner and was too full after dinner.First course: salad bar. I’m a huge fan of salads and think salad bars are great because I can control the dressing. I hate soggy salads. Nothing too extraordinary here but I was satisfied.Main course: the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were good, as was the Thai squid and rice. I thought the sweet and sour chicken was tasty, although a little dry. I wished there were more veggie items. I didn’t feel like cabbage and the ratatouille was ok, I just wanted something with a bit more pop of flavour. Sushi was bland and the shrimp had no real flavour to speak of, which was disappointing. I liked the crab and sourdough salad though. Mashed potatoes were excellent…but they were garlic mashed potatoes so of course they were excellent!Dessert: A lot to choose from! The puffed pastry with peach was excellent, as was he scrumptious oatmeal raisin cookie. I love fresh fruit, too but wished there were grapes. The mango panna Cota was very tart and after all my fruit my tongue couldn’t take it.Our server was very sweet. The place was clean and well kept. I would definitely return. An excellent evening out.

Great buffet lunch. Lots to pick from, full of flavor and lots of veggies. Service is fast and attentive. We will be back. Great company too!

Night out, and I mean out. I was there recently as a night out with the girlfriend, we usual goto jubilations but decided to try this place, the buffet was really good and the desserts were excellent, it is more pricey but the food was definitely worth it, the play however was not that great, it knocked me totally out, my girlfriend said she can hear me snoring, oops then again it was a who done it instead of a comedy so that might have been the reason, I would definitely give it a try with a comedy and see if I have the same reaction, the food was worth the extra cost!

We read that the buffet was the same as any other, but we thought it was better than that. It had a nice variety of dishes with an East Indian influence and the service was good.

Love it! always have done the evening show and dinner. Always amazing. Great food buffet. Wear loose clothes! Eat as much as you want. Always looking forward to go. So far the shows I have seen have been really good.
