Olive Garden is not bad, but it isn’t real Italian food, in my opinion. I like the toss salad, but I think their bread should be homemade, with olive oil and balsamic vinagre for dipping. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and calamari as appetizers. I don’t like like mushrooms but I have to say those were very good, not cooked until mush, and tasty stuffing. The calamari were so teeny I think we were mainly eating the breading…For my meal I had shrimp and chicken carbonara. The sauce itself was tasty, but I don’t think it was real bacon (maybe bacon bits). I was expecting the chicken to be grilled, not chicken strips. They did not taste good. Shrimp were cooked to perfection! I don’t think the red pepper really have a place in this dish.We all had a hard time hearing (low talker in a noisy area) and even understanding her (she was a fast talker), but she was nice and efficient.

Terrible over-priced food and lousy service. Never again. The only thing that tasted just ok was the breadsticks. Too many great restaurants in Edmonton to waste your time and money on this one.

Went in today around 1 pm for a quick lunch with my wife and son , ordered a diet coke or Pepsi not sure which one my wife got , a small milk for my son and a iced tea , took about 10 mins for that to get to table , 10 mins later we get the bread sticks ( just 2 of them for 3 ppl ) but hot and fresh so I don’t mind that …. But then after ordering before the breadsticks get there ( appy trio with calamari , beef and pork ravioli and and stuffed mushrooms for me , lasagna Frieda for my wife , spaghetti and meat Sauce for my son was the whole order ) .. Wait ten mins , drink empty now (25 mins there drink empty for ten of those mins ) apps should be there by now ……. 15 mins later still no waitress even comes by drink still empty …. Another 15 goes ( so almost 50 mins there ) …. Had to be someplace else just after two so I leave 10 bucks on the table to pay for milk and pops and leave without getting food …. Tell manager on way out that we didn’t get feed but left money for the Pop and milk … He says sorry I can get it out right away ….. But had to be someplace else so just said don’t worry about it , I know it’s not his fault , but think it will be a long time till I go back to this location after having great service there less then a week ago … It’s 5pm and still need lunch I think I’ll go to Burger King from now on …. This is just this times review as like I said I have 99% of the time had way above to great service at this location

I decided to give Olive Garden another try after a good experience a few months back at a different location. The wait time was very reasonable for lunch on a weekday. However, what caught my attention was the service. It wasn’t bad per se, but alright. My server looked quite emotionless I would say – no smile at all. Anyway, not a big deal.In terms of the food, I ordered the Chicken Scampi. For the price, it definitely did not meet my expectations. It’s a dish with angel hair pasta with chicken tenderloins and bell peppers. I’m usually a big fan of chicken and bell peppers. But this pasta was a bit too saucy, and mixing that with the cooking of the peppers, the bell peppers tasted bland – almost tasteless. The chicken was average. The creaminess made me feel full quite fast. The meal looked great and colourful with the addition of the bell peppers, but this was definitely one of those times where one shouldn’t judge a book by its covers. Although this experience wasn’t great, I may still give Olive Garden another shot in the future, but it’s not a place I would visit too often anyway.

Been here many many years ago and have never been back since my first time. The wait time wasn’t so bad, service was average, and the food tasted okay. Nothing really special here. I can make better tasting pasta dishes at home.

My family and I come here several times a year and although we pretty much order the same thing most of the time, we’ve never had a bad meal or bad service ever. I guess it depends on your expectation. If you expect fine dining, rustic Italian experience then you’re in the wrong place.

terrible experience…food was overpriced and inedible…relief promised by them never materialized (gift cards that could be used either at their restaurante or Red Lobster). we will not be back
