The owner and the staff were really nice and welcoming when I got there. The service was also really quick and my food was ready fairly quick as well. I ordered the beef satay because of reviews and it was much sweeter than what I prefer in my beef satay but it was still decent, but I’m still on the look out for the best satay in Edmonton. It had a lot of flavour and there was a bit of a kick in terms of spiciness. I wouldn’t mind coming back to try other things on the menu.
My friend and I try a new restaurant every month, this was her pick. I tried the beef satay based on some of the reviews here. It was good, not great, middle of the road for me. I can think of two other restaurants that have a much better beef satay than Rice Paper. My friend enjoyed her vermicelli bowl but wasn’t overwhelmed either. The service was okay, not overly friendly nor frequent in visiting our table. We experienced the same situation as another reviewer, our dirty dishes sat in front of us for quite awhile and our water was not refilled.
That beef satay soup.. Wow!This place is great for a quick lunch. Service is fast – I usually get my food within 15 minutes of ordering it. Really good prices too.I just wish I could get myself to order something other than the beef satay but I’ll be damned if that’s not one of the tastiest soups I’ve ever eaten.

Ordered the wor wonton soup and it was very good. The best wor wonton soup I’ve ever tried, great friendly service as well. Great broth, fresh produce and a nice size portion.
Great food and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The rice paper wraps are presented unassembled and a good variety of fillings to use. If you ask they will tell you how to assemble your wraps. Highly recommend this place. We will be back
