I went here today because I’ve heard from my friends about the fantastic sandwiches here! Especially Friday’s for the foie gras sandwiches. Today was the chicken and sausage gumbo with foie gras made fresh to order, with homemade kettle chips and a pickle! I had to take this to go, but on my way back to work the smell emanating from the seat beside me drove me to drool the ride back to work! The smell equals the taste and flavor from the sandwich that begs you to keep eating it even if you are full! The chips and pickles are the bomb and I will be going back again!! Thank you for my religious experience with this sandwich!!

I had the roasted chicken. Was very dry. Had hardly any cranberry sauce. Was just a bun filled with dry chicken topped off with a bit of gravy. Not impressed, won’t be back.

Great sandwiches! Had the Montreal smoked meat…not many places do this well in Edmonton, but hat’s off to Sandwich & Sons…very fresh ingredients…great bread.

Currently my hubbie and I are in search of the BEST sandwich is YEG! And since this Plc is all over social media we had to check it out. We ordered the spicy Italian and Blt. The meat was fresh and tasty and the homemade chips were a nice touch but you know what makes or breaks a good sandwich is the FIXINGS!! This is where you lost me I will be back to check out the Friday special though, so I’m crossing my fingers that my tastebuds will not be disappointed.

Passed this place numerous times as I work in the area. I love a good soup and sandwich shop. Read the reviews and decided it was time to try this place. I’m not sure what all the hype is for. When I walked in it looked like a basic sandwich shop. The employees didn’t really acknowledge me. They were too busy stocking the cooler, I guess. I didn’t get a welcoming or friendly feeling walking into this place. I was the only person in the restaurant. I ordered the fried bologna sandwich and the spicy Italian sandwich. I found both sandwiches very underwhelming. Too much grainy mustard on the Bologna sandwich and we didn’t like the flavor of the bologna itself. I also didn’t care for the lettuce on the fried bologna. The spicy Italian was dry and we didn’t care for the meat on that one either. We are big fans of Italian deli sandwiches, but not this one. Both sandwiches came with homemade potato chips which we liked at first but they soon became way too salty and we kept getting pockets of cold grease. To top it off they are way over priced for sandwiches $10.50 & up. Next time I’ll head to Subway for half the price.

I checked out this place for the first time a fee weeks ago. I was impressed. Went with the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and it delivered on flavour! I ate it a little cold as you need two hands for this one but it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back to check out their other menu items.

Heard so much about this place and read some positive reviews so of course I’m gonna go try this place out. I’m glad they are open on a Saturday as most deli sandwich places is closed on weekends. The first thing I wanted to try on their menu is the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich and I was not dissapointed. It also comes with a side of fried potato chips, which tasted pretty good. In my opinion, I think they should also include poutine to their menu. The amount of meat you get is unbelievable! There is just a lot of meat stacked on the marbled rye bread. The amount of kraut is right on; there is not so much of it to over power the taste of the smoked meat. Overall height of the sandwich is about 3 inches high! Now that’s a huge sandwich. I would love to come back and try the other items on the menu.
