  Very Disappointing. We were staying at Double Tree Hilton so eating here was an obvious choice. I can’t eat pepper, so ordered a sirloin steak with vegetables NO PEPPER. The food came out and it had pepper on it. Sent it back. It came back out (my husband had already finished eating by now) and I had a piece of steak with a few pieces of asparagus (at least there was no pepper). Decided to try the buffet last night. I also can’t eat gluten so asked what was gluten free. I was told the chicken pieces, the fish pieces and the salad. Sounds ok…except the salads are covered in pepper!! Tonight we decided to give the menu another chance. Ordered the steak again, told the waiter about our experience the other night with the meal, then waited. Our meals came out. Yep, my steak covered in pepper sauce and whole peppercorns. Sent it back. It came out a second time. No pepper on the steak this time but the vegetables (on which the steak was sitting) were covered in it, including pepper infused in mashed potato. I sent it back again and since my husband had finished his meal a long while ago, told them not to bother bringing out a third meal. Very poor. I won’t be eating here again.

  My husband and I have been coming to the mayfield for years and tonight we had a great night here. Food was amazing and came out quickly even though it looked very busy. I am so happy that Vics is gone and there is finally a modern restaurant here. My husband usually never enjoys his steak but it came out beautifully. Dessert was fantastic we had the cheesecake and it was just delish.

  Extremely Accommodating. My wife and I arrived during a busy Friday evening with a few friends without a reservation. Normally this would attract quite a bit of frustration from restaurant staff but we were met with very polite and enthusiastic smiles. Within a few minutes we were all seated together in the dining room and each of us had a glass of sparkling water poured for us before we even opened the menu. The wine selection was good and the atmosphere was pretty modern considering this is a hotel restaurant. Normally finding something my wife would be able to enjoy is difficult because she has a few food allergies, gluten egg and dairy among them, but shortly after informing our server about the allergies the chef himself came and introduced himself to our table. After speaking to us and explaining the menu for a little bit he created an entire meal just for my darling wife and her accute dinning needs. This included appetizer, main course and a special dessert all without any additional cost or attitude. From our seats we could look directly into the kitchen and see that they were happy to make something just for her. Not only will I be returning but I will but planing most of our family outings around this place.
