Worst service!. Stood and waited to be seated for 10 minutes. The place was almost empty. 7 waiters walked by and looked at us and no one would even greet is. There was a waitress counting her tips at the till right beside the door. Just turned around and left. Been here before, the food is just ok sometimes and terrible other times but location is convenient for us
Go here for Sunday brunch all the time. Staff is friendly enough and always a wide assortment of food to choose from. Recommend it to anyone who wants a casual Sunday brunch.
Horrible sunday brunch never been that dissatisfied with a Sunday brunch in my life
The service was super friendly. I had a chicken pesto panini. It was good but next time I’ll have the pretzel bun panini instead. My husband’s Edmontonian Burger was delicious!
This is a great restauraunt with many great dishes. I eat here often while staying at the hotel or not. The Edmontonian burger is one of the better ie had in this city. It has a tasty 7oz sirloin burger, thick bacon white cheddar fresh tomato lettuce and onion and really tasty pickle slices. And then a garlic mayo all on a kaiser. Absolutely delicious do check out this restaurant.
Tried the Creole Chicken burger with a ceasar salad at the bar part of Steels in the Executive Royal Inn. One of the better ceasars I’ve had in a long time. The chicken burger was flavorful w/cajun seasoning and the special bayou mayo was fantastic!
Steels Prime Rib. I went to the lounge connected to Steels Cafe and ordered the 8 oz prime rib meal medium rare. At $18.95 that isn’t the cheapest(or most expensive) I have ever had. The problem I had was when I got my prime rib it was very well done. Not even a speck of pink and when I cut into it, it cut very much like my moms sunday roast beef (Dry like a popcorn fart). Subsequently I could not eat it and sent it back. I did, however eat the mashed potatoes,2 carrots, and 2 asparagus. Why I am writing this is because the waitress did apologize about the meal and took the price of a beer of my bill. Now that to me was over and above what I had expected (as I thought she was taking the meal off as well)and felt that in the future this would be a place I would come back to. The only problem is that they STILL charged me $18.95 for the prime rib. As a consumer not only will I never go back to the restaurant here and if you are planning to try this place out may I suggest somewhere else.
