Great food. One might think that 30 dollars is a bit pricey but, this is all you can eat Japanese, not just sushi. Let me elaborate, there is not only sushi but sashimi, shrimp, chicken, steak, ribs, crab, chinese food and the list goes on. This makes it an amaxing value. This place has some tasty food. The rock shrimp and chicken teriyaki are worth the trip alone.
Love it just love it i was depressed at home and wanted a life came here and i was mira noon after i came in i was treated with respect loyalty and king i ate as one yes i am fat 300lb and love food
Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Im from YYC and friends recommended this place to me and I have NEVER had worse sushi, appies etc for lunch. It was WAY overpriced and the sushi made myself and my s/o so so sick! Place looks so run down and nothing was fresh. Please save your money and look else-wear for good sushi!
Simply bad. We wanted to give the place a chance sue to the ratings. Dives can be surprisongly good sometime. Not this time. The place is poorly kept. The grass is not cut out front. There was garbage all over outside the front door. Inside is slightly better with badly worn broken pleather booths and piles of napkins to level a table. The Sashimi are tiny pieces and pretty tasteless. At least they were not fishy. We had a few different rolls. All were bland and not particularly pleasant to eat. The rolls that had tempura were mostly tempura (read mounthful of loose panko). There was very little fish in the rolls. I still am not sure which had the soft shell crab in it.Service was prompt.
Service is pretty good. I really enjoy the young man server- he is always so nice and gives prompt service. The rolls are good but sashimi pieces are quite small. As far as all you can eat sushi in Edmonton is this place is at the top. I like how you get ice cream included and especially love when they have green tea ice cream.
This place is alright for the most part. But honestly it’s going to be a hit or miss. I’ve been here with friends on numerous occasions and had good or bad experiences. Service use to be horrendous, but it’s better than before. The rolls are average, sashimi slices use to be way bigger but they really cut down (not expecting much since it is ayce). Food quality is alright either, not the freshest sashimi but for that price point, it’s understandable. I still think Sumo Sumo is wayyyyy better than this place in terms of ayce, selection and quality wise.
The only way this place earned a 3.6 rating is if they had friends and employees shill for them! The food was thoroughly unimpressive and wasn’t as good as grocery store sushi. The staff seemed to be clueless: when we asked for glasses for the beer our waiter had brought us in cans he looked at us as if we had asked for something outrageous. When our food was brought out and we asked our waiter to explain which roll were which he couldn’t do it. To top it all off, we were charged $30 per person for this sub-par sushi experience. Don’t bother with this place; they don’t deserve your money.
