A mediocre breakfast place. My mother and I decided to try Tutti Frutti for breakfast on a Friday morning. Entering, we were seated and our drinks were quickly ordered. I got their free-for-all omelette, and my mother got the Cocorico. My omelette was good, however there was one major concern that I had while eating it. Nearing the end, I bit down on something hard and realized it was a piece of plastic! There was a tiny piece of plastic in the middle of my omelette. Not sure how that can happen, but it definitely left me with a bad impression of the company. The potatoes were a tad bit burnt, but the fruits were fresh. The bacon that my mom had was perfect, crisp and perfectly salted. As usual with Tutti Frutti, their portion sizes are large and we had leftovers (toast) to take home.Service also was very impersonal. I don’t think the server once talked to us about our days or anything, besides ordering food. I feel as if this was due to how busy she was getting all the tables sorted out rather than anything else. Maybe they’re understaffed? However, this meant that the service was extremely quick and we were in and out from there in an hour. All in all, I’d be very hesitant to try this place again because of the plastic situation I had. Maybe I’d try it again, but if not maybe I’ll just drive to Coras instead. Not recommended.
