Realllllllly good food here. I dont care about the negative reviews for places, because I usually want to try the place myself and make that judgement. Glad we did with this place. Go. Good pasta here!
Stopped here on a whim and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and the food tasted homemade and delicious.I had we had 5 people at our table the food came out quick.
Plain and simple….. I will never go to this place again …. the owner whom I complained to about the service told me if I didn’t like it… don’t come back…. last time I checked, your customers are the reason your doors are open …. jerk!!!!!!!
Repeat Customer for thirty years. I have enjoyed every meal I have ever had at Zambelli’s since they first opened in West Edmonton Mall. For a few years I missed John and Bill when the WEM location closed and they wound up in Leduc but after they opened the Stony Plain Road location our family have been regulars. Business associates also head there for a guaranteed good meal. I have never been disappointed with either the food or the service on any occasion which must now number in the several hundred return visits. I have always found the servers both pleasant and efficient. I was there this past weekend and was overwhelmed by the number of guests present. There were only a few empty tables. They are doing many things right to have this kind of support from the knowledgeable dining community.
I loved that place…… Hi….my name is Allen. I worked at Zambelli’s for 7 years back when I was young (in the 80’s). I just recently perused the comments about the restaurant and the owners/staff. Back then there was just one Zambelli’s in West Edm Mall on Bourbon Street. And yes….those old Greek owners (John and Bill) were miserable old farts who were not good at people skills. Part of the reason (especially for Bill) is that they were there from 6 am till 3 am…..EVERY day. I know Bill (as the chef) had to prepare everything. I would become a miserable ass too…lol. But they prided themselves on the quality of food they served. I also know…back then…Zambelli’s pizza was known as the best in the city. People flocked from all sides of Edmonton to get one. There was a line up out there door almost every night. Times have changed obviously. And my favourite bar waitress owns a franchise Zambelli’s in Leduc. Galina….I still think about you sometimes…
Greeeaaaaat pizza!!!!. Dont let the bad reviews fool you, it may get busy and the service may not be the best at times, but the pizza is one of the best pizza’s in Edmonton. I’ve tried pizza at many different popular pizza spots including Rose bowl pizza, Dallas pizza, Versato’s and Donna’s eatery. This place matches up to them. Sub par service does not affect the taste of the food. Guaranteed great pizza every time. And TBH, I go during lunch hour and the service is fine. Perhaps at night time or other times there is fewer staff? Either way you should not be discouraged from coming to try the pizza.
