Visited during the Okotoks street event and the food was awesome. Would happily make the trip again from Calgary.Shared some fish and chips and had a burger. Highly recommend either menu choice.
Bring cash, no debit or credit accepted!!Ordered the 2 pieces of cod with fries ($15.95) and the other with poutine ($18.70). The pieces are a good size and I would have been content with 1 piece. The fish was lightly battered and not drowning in a thick tasteless batter. Food is fresh and cooked to order, service was friendly and seems like a local hot spot. Kind of pricey for a fish and chips mom & pop diner but it was nice to try it. The diner itself is small and has about 10 tables.
Bring Cash. No cards accepted. Love this place. Never had a bad meal. Burgers are homemade and wonderful. Fish and Chips fresh and way better (and better price) than the F & C place down the street. Have not been for breakfast but heard excellent things.
Great cozy family run restaurant. Very personable owners and great food to back it up! Try the fish and chips!! Wor wonton soup is also great!!!
My wife and I were strolling downtown last weekend and although it doesn’t look like much from the outside, we decided to chance this little restaurant! We were blown away by the quality of the food, the excellent customer service and all within a very reasonable price. We both opted for fish & chips, one order of cod and one of the halibut and both were terrific and a small side of rings was a great accent! We are planning on going back to try their award winning, homemade burgers this week! Plus our hostess provided us with all kinds of information on Okotoks activities!
Bacon and Cheese Burger. Best burger I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing.
Consistently fresh, crispy battered fish is a showstopper! Halibut or cod to suit. You won’t be disappointed, but very likely will become addicted.
