One of the best and only diner spots in Okotoks. Best fish and chips. Prices used to be better. Surprisingly best war won ton and dumplings. Fries and burgers are great too. Feel like comfort food, spuds is it!
Amazing staff, very friendly and honest. i was hungry and wanted a war won ton soup and fish and chips. she said we best share the war won ton as its a large meal for one….. she was right. we eneded up taking that yummy leftover for the journey to the mountains. The fish and chips was not greasy and to be honest better than other fish shops chains in Calgary. unique home made food that really made an impression on me as i don’t write reviews normal. The final outstanding point and to be honest shouldn’t be a factor in choosing good homemade wholesome food over price, however this was cheaper than any fish and chip meal iv had yet in alberta. so you wont break the bank eating get food in a friendly home style place, to be honest i paid double the cost for the same order down the road, i was so impresed i gave them a generous tip as i was expecting to pay double, i had to ask if she made a mistake with the bill. lol Dont take my word for it try it yourself .. go on you know you want too.
Wanted a good fish and chips place in and around Calgary, other than the usuals. Found this place on-line and was truly not disappointed! Fish was cooked perfectly…light crispy batter on the outside and moist on the inside. Fries are home made and were also great!Table across from us had homemade burgers…that will be on our next trip. This is truly a mom and pop restaurant, maybe 10 tables but services was awesome. Calgarians have got to try this place!!
