  Beware if you’re Gluten Free!. I asked the staff to toast the GF bread (that I brought with me) in toaster bags that I provided so that I could avoid contamination from the toaster. The manager approached our table with my bread and very loudly and publicly announced that he would not do this because it might damage his toaster. I don’t begrudge him being concerned and even refusing but he embarassed me by being so loud about. I’m sure the entire section heard him – everyone was looking at us the entire time! A little discretion would have gone a long way! He also offered no alternatives and then just walked away without sending the staff back so I could choose an alternative. He processed my payment at the end and didn’t even acknowledge the situation! brutal!

  Why is it that I could drink coffee all day and only get charged for one cup but, if like today, I asked to put two tea bags in the pot they charge you double? Sadly, I won’t be returning to Ricky’s In Okotoks out of principleBring your own tea bags.27 Feb, 2012Pretty average food nothing to get excited about. Strawberry milkshake is excellent though.   People are friendly. Food came out quick. Everything we ate was good. The kids loved it. Prices weren’t to bad either
