Love it!. Best service ever. I choose to go here over any other pub in Okotoks mainly because of the fantastic service. Each server genuinely cares about their customers. The owner is incrediblyeand everyone quickly remembered my name and order and it feels like home. Food is also fantastic and I’ve never been dissapointed. Love this place so much! Keep it up!
The George is fantastic I am a regular there and the service is great, my girlfriend and I have been going there for a long time and she goes there on her own after work to get a drink and always gets served promptly. As for new people who come there they will always be served as quickly as possible. I have never had any kind of problem at the George I love it there and so do all the people I know who go there.
AMAZING NEW OWNERS!!!!. The George is a family place. Everyone feels welcome when they go there. Amazing food, great service, and awesome atmosphere. We will absolutely be back.
Disappointed!. Went here with a friend! Heard great things about George from friends and co-workers. After spending 50 dollars (well worth for drinks and foods) but the service is bad! We both were very pissed off. If you expect good service go somewhere else. I would never go back now due to poor service. I’m all about the service I tip well for good service!
The food has been hit or miss over the last 10+ yrs. Averages out to mediocre pub food. I have heard the owner is a super nice guy. Biggest problem is that unless you are there with men you don’t get service. I’ve heard this from many woman in town and experienced it. A year ago went with hubby – great friendly waitress. Went with my male boss in July – young waitress was decent. Went to meet two gf having beers…..I waited over 10 min to be served and after that we would sit with empty glasses and have to flag her down every time. That gets tiring. It was the same the year before on my birthday. We had to practically tackle the waitress for service and it was NOT busy. Most of us switched to a The Duke which is not fantastic food either but 9/10 I get an excellent waitress. And now…..with so many options in town I don’t even consider The George. Sorry 🙁
Great food great service. Awesome place. Go there for lunch almost every day. Just launched there new lunch menu and it cant be beat anywhere in town. Delicious. Awesome service too. Will defiantly be going back soon to try out more of there lunch menu.
Waitress not friendly at all. Shepards pie WAY too much salt and it’s ground beef unlike what the menu states. Terrible steak. Good if your only going for an app and drinks.
