Not a bad sushi place, with a good variety of options and above average sashimi. We had the bridge of tuna, salmon sashimi, shrimp dumplings and a california roll. Quality and plating were both great. It’s not my favorite sushi restaurant, but it is close. If you are making a trip to okotoks for something it is worth stopping by 🙂
This place used to be great. It’s been a few months since we were there last. Not sure if this was a one night thing or what but not worth the money spent tonight. Red tuna tastes like something was put on it to keep the colour. Not impressed. Not sure if we will go back.
Love the specials, lots of choice. Sizes of rolls was to big but changed menu so that was great. Fresh and flavourful. Good hours. Service Handles big parties pretty well.
My friends and I did a pick up order here a while ago, hearing that it is the top rated in Okotoks.I ordered the town of okotoks, the picture looks good, but when I received it, it looked like a California roll with bits of tempura onions on the side. I guess if I had paid more attention to the description it would have made sense. I just wished the presentation was better. 3/4 of us were disappointed with the order. The great thing about this place is how big the orders are. We couldn’t even finish our food.
When you catch it on a good fish day it’s good. When you catch it on a bad fish day…… 🙁 I like the selection though. Some faves are the green salad, pan fried gyoza and teriyaki chicken.
So good!. We really enjoy this place, the service is great and everything is so fresh. I had a beef roll that was over cooked so it was tough, so I sent it back and the cook came out to apologize and offer us another roll. Awesome service and great food!
