Arno’s is located at the corner of an apartment building along 116 street and can be very easy to miss since it’s not on the main road. The cafe itself is quite simple with a few seats outside as well.They have a few pastry options in their pastry case from the usual macaron, to lemon tarts and even mille-feuille. I was excited to try the mille-feuille after spending several months in Japan, where almost every bakery and cafe has created their own version of it. I found the pastry to be the perfect amount of flakyness, however a tad too sweet. My friends opted for the other pastries and I can definitely recommend the lemon tarts and their other variation of a lemon tart that had a cheesecake like texture to it.Overall, enjoyed my experience here, the only downside is that it’s a bit out of the way for me, however it’s in such a nice, quiet area of downtown that it’s hard to say no.
